Collingham
Collingham is a thriving village with a remarkably good range of amenities; a Co-operative supermarket, several excellent village stores, most notably JD Nicholson the butchers, a highly rated primary school, a medical centre, dental practice, a village pharmacy and a library. The village has extensive sports clubs; including cricket, football, tennis, bowls and croquet clubs, three village inns and an active church community.
The market town of Newark on Trent, some seven miles to the south of the village offers a more extensive range of retail amenities, professional services, restaurants and leisure facilities including a sport centre and marina. From Newark there is direct access to the A1 national road network and a fast direct rail link into London Kings Cross in a scheduled journey time of 80/85 minutes.
The main regional centres of Nottingham and Lincoln are accessible by road from the village and there are direct rail links from Collingham station - with a rail service timed specifically to serve the Lincoln Minster School.
