Gunthorpe

Gunthorpe is a thriving village set in Trent Valley countryside, to the north east of Nottingham.  The village offers a useful range of amenities, an expanding primary school, an ‘active’ church and three village inns – and is close to extensive market town amenities in Bingham and Southwell.

Newark on Trent, a larger market town, offers an extensive range of amenities, professional services, restaurants and leisure activities.  Lincoln is accessible by road and rail and there is direct access to the A1.  From Newark Northgate station there is a fast rail link into London Kings Cross in a scheduled journey time of 80/90 minutes – or thereabouts.

Nottingham is accessed by road along the A612 through Burton Joyce or alternatively there is a direct rail link into Nottingham centre from Lowdham station.
